COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– CHAUTAUQUA – Chanine A. Yordy, 30, of Westfield, was charged with aggravated DWI – driving with a child in the vehicle (Leandra’s Law), aggravated DWI – BAC of .18% or higher and moving from lane unsafely at 9:10 p.m. Sunday after deputies responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Route 430 in Chautauqua. Yordy was allegedly driving with two children under the age of 16 in the vehicle. Yordy will be in Chautauqua Town Court later.

– STOCKTON – Charissa M. Wallace-Buchanan, 34, of Portland was charged with DWI, moving from lane unsafely and operating a vehicle while using a mobile phone at 1:57 p.m. Saturday after deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on South Stockton-Cassadaga Road in Stockton. Wallace-Buchanan was taken to Westfield Memorial hospital for possible injuries. She will be in Stockton Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Andre M. Maple, 21, and Alexsandria L. Ramos, 20, both of Jamestown, face second-degree criminal contempt charges after a 911 hangup call at 1:16 a.m. Monday. According to a police report, Maple was allegedly knocking on the victim’s door, who has a stay-away order of protection against him, and then left the area. While speaking to the victim, officers observed Alexsandria L. Ramos make a phone call to a person that has a stay-away order of protection against her. Maple was located shortly after and placed into custody. Alexsandria was placed into custody at the scene, and both were taken to the city jail until they could be arraigned.

– Caleb J. Link, 29, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated DWI (BAC .18% or higher), DWI and traffic citations after officers pulled a vehicle over on Lakeview Avenue near Crossman Street at 1:39 a.m. Sunday. Officers report pulling a vehicle over for an observed traffic violation and allegedly identified the operator to be Caleb J. Link. Through investigation, it was determined that Caleb was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. Link was released and will be in Jamestown City Court later.

– Raymond A. Gates Jr., 39, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 6:44 p.m after officers on patrol saw Gates walking on the city’s south side knowing Gates had an active arrest warrant issued by Jamestown City Court. Gates was allegedly walking with a woman who had an order of protection against Gates. Gates was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Illinois D. Jackson, 21, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 10:18 a.m. Sunday after officers responded to a north side address for a reported disorderly subject damaging property. Officers determined that property had been damaged during a domestic incident. Jackson was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Jessica Diaz-Hernandez, 46, of Falconer was charged with petit larceny and public lewdness at 11:53 a.m. Saturday after officers responded to a business in Brooklyn Square for a reported shoplifting in progress. Upon arrival, officers quickly caught Diaz-Hernandez, who allegedly stole merchandise valued at $200.46 from the business. During the investigation, she exposed herself to the public by pulling down her pants and urinating on the sidewalk in front of uniformed officers. She was arrested and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail. Diaz-Hernandez also allegedly had multiple outstanding bench warrants in Jamestown, Dunkirk and Fredonia.
