CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
— MAYVILLE — Just before 9 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to a report of an incident. After an investigation it was alleged that Gaven M. Crandall, 20, physically strike another individual. He was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
— FRENCH CREEK — Deputies responded to an address in the town for a reported altercation at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Through an investigation, it was determined that Jordan Taylor, 27, of Clymer had damaged property of another and made threats to harm another person. Taylor was later arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief In The Fourth Degree and Harassment In The Second Degree. Jordan was later transported to CCSO for processing. Jordan was later transported to CCJ for CAP.
— POMFRET — Around 6:17 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an address on Lamberton Road for an unwanted person. Once on scene, deputies identified the subject as Jacob H. Tye of Pomfret. Tye was charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal trespass. He was transported to county jail for arraignment and will return to the town court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Douglas E. Puckett Jr., 38, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of petit larceny, and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
At 11:46 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to an address on the southside of Jamestown for a larceny complaint. Officers learned that Puckett had stolen property from two neighboring houses. Officers located Puckett a short time later in possession of one of the items that had been stolen.
Puckett was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was held pending arraignment.
— Dominic J. Santiago, 28, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal tampering.
At about 12:16 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a trespass complaint on the south side. Upon arrival, the male subject, Santiago, was found sitting on the front porch of a property on the south side. After further investigation, it was discovered that Santiago was inside of the residence. He was never given any permission from the victim to be inside of the residence. When inside of the residence he damaged property inside and defecated in one of the rooms of the house. Santiago was being held pending his arraignment.
— Samantha J Lugo, 24, was charged with resisting arrest and second-degree criminal contempt. At 1:19 a.m. Saturday, officers observed Lugo walking on the west side of the city. Officers had knowledge that there was an outstanding warrant for Lugo issued by Jamestown City Court. Lugo was also with an individual that she has an order of protection to stay away from.
When officers attempted to make contact with Lugo she fled on foot. After a brief foot pursuit Lugo was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown city jail.
