JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Adam D. Bauernfeind, 47, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree strangulation, third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday after officers responded to a north side address for a domestic dispute. Through investigation it was found that Bauernfeind allegedly strangled a person, which caused physical injury, punched the person and broke a bathroom door inside of the residence. Bauernfeind was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
Taking into custody without incident and was transported to the Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.
– Michael W. Wilcox, 56, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 11:17 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a report of a domestic incident at a residence located on the north side. Upon investigation, it was determined Wilcox had allegedly stolen a person’s phone while they were attempting to call 911. Wilcox then allegedly left the residence with the stolen cell phone and was found a short distance away, still in possession of it. He was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– Michael A. Bane, 25, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated criminal contempt, third-degree assault and unlawful imprisonment at 5:17 a.m. Wednesday after officers responded to an east side address for a domestic dispute. Through investigation, it was found that Bane allegedly held a person down and punched the person victim in the head, causing a laceration. It was then discovered that there is an order of protection for Bane to refrain from offensive contact against the person. Bane was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
