CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– MAYVILLE – Justice W McBride, 24, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. On May 10 McBridde was booked into the County Jail on unrelated charges out of the City of Jamestown Court. During the intake process he was detained in a holding cell where it is alleged that he intentionally smashed the phone handset off the block wall. The phone handset was shattered and unusable.
– SHERMAN – Kevin Cole, 61, of Sherman was charged Thursday with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, improper plates, and unregistered motor vehicle. At around 11 p.m. deputies conducted a well-being check of an individual in a vehicle and charged him following the investigation. He will answer to the charges in Sherman Town Court at a later date.
