JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Kevin LaMar, 52, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday after officers patrolling the area of Winsor and East Second streets flagged officers down and told them a man had threatened the youth with a handgun. Officers report finding LaMar a short time later. LaMar was charged, taken to the city jail for processing and released with an appearance ticket.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– FREWSBURG – Kyle Knisely, 18, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated and moving from lane unsafely after being involved in a motor vehicle accident Sunday. At around 3:40 a.m. deputies responded to an address on Oak Hill Road, Frewsburg, for a motor vehicle accident with reported injuries. Knisely and passenger Deziray Raak, 33, of Eau Claire, Wisc., were taken to UPMC Chautauqua by ambulance for injuries sustained in the crash.
– WESTFIELD – Jonathan Vega Rivera, 33, of Westfield was charged Thursday with first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree attempted assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. At around 5 p.m. deputies and officers from the Westfield Police Department responded to an address on North Portage Street for a reported altercation where Vega Rivera was allegedly violating a stay away order of protection and had threatened another person with a screwdriver. While deputies were attempting to get more information Vega Rivera allegedly fled out a back window from his residence which resulted in a brief foot chase. He was located, charged and taken to the county jail for arraignment. He will answer to the charges in the Town of Westfield court at a later date.

— Cifford Cox, 23, of Jamestown, was arrested April 22 and charged with driving with suspended registration and four vehicle and traffic law infractions.
— Brian Nowak, 38, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 23 and charged with petit larceny.
— Marcos Reyes, 23, of Fredonia, was arrested April 23 and charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and false personation.
— Kyle Perry, 31, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 23 and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
— Luis Sanchez Jr., 41, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 24 and charged with reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and unlawful discharging of firearm.
— Marvin Harvey, 34, of Fredonia, was arrested April 25 and charged with public lewdness.
— Kevin Dejesus-Rivera, 33, no address listed, was arrested April 26 and charged with petit larceny.
— Alan Bourquin, 41, of Forestville, was arrested April 28 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and three vehicle and traffic law infractions.
— Phillip Decker, 27, of Little Valley, was arrested April 28 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and three vehicle and traffic law infractions.
— Kathryn Callahan, 35, of Erie, Pa., was arrested April 29 and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and four vehicle and traffic law infractions.
