JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Tarice Echevarria, 25, of Jamestown was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation after officers responded to a reported physical domestic dispute at 8 p.m. Thursday. Officers found Echevarria allegedly choked a woman during a domestic dispute and then left the house. Echevarria was found a short distance away and was charged. Officers took him to the city jail until he could be arraigned

– Brandon L Quattrone, 41, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree harassment after officers responded to an address on the east side of the city for a larceny complaint. Quattrone allegedly stole items from a person, damaged the person’s property and then threatened to kill the other person. Police report Quattrone was found at the scene and charged. He was taken to the city jail and released with an appearance ticket.

– Tony J. Stebbins, 37, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, a felony, at 4:03 a.m. Monday when officers patrolling the North Main Street near the railroad viaduct heard a loud banging noise coming from the area. Officers report finding Stebbins near the bronze canoe statue in the park near the river. Officers say Stebbins was hitting the statue with a sledgehammer causing significant damage to the legs of the statue. The value of the statue is estimated to be more than $1,500. in excess of $1,500.00. Stebbins was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

ELLICOTT POLICE

– A 15-year-old Ellicott youth was charged with third-degree criminal trespass after officers responded to Falconer High School for a reported trespassing complaint. It is alleged the juvenile entered the school again after being sent home from the school. A Family Court appearance ticket was issued.

– Aaron M. Albaugh, 40, of Jamestown was charged with resisting arrest and being a fugitive from justice on Monday. Ellicott police conducted a street check and it was found Albaugh had a confirmed warrant out of Warren, Pa., from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. Ellicott police attempted to arrest Albaugh, but he resisted, according to a police report. Albaugh was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment and will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
