— A 23-year-old city resident is facing charges after attempting to break-in to a nearby residence.

Dunkirk police report Manuel Eusebio Jr., 23, of 27 W. Lucas Ave., was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief after the department received a call reporting a male subject was attempting to break into a victim’s apartment through the front door around 10 a.m. Thursday.

It is alleged that Eusebio broke down the lower apartment door at 27 W. Lucas Ave. during the course of an argument with the victim.

Eusebio was taken into custody and held for arraignment.

– SILVER CREEK – Hannah Smith, 26, of Silver Creek, was charged Sept. 24 with second-degree aggravated harassment. It is alleged that the day before Smith threatened to cause physical harm to an individual during a phone call. She will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.
