Area Police Reports
JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Abigail L. Thompson, 22, of Jamestown was charged with three counts of first-degree criminal contempt and two counts of resisting arrest at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday after officers responded a west side address to check the well being of two youths. Officers found Thompson inside the apartment and, according to a police report, were aware of a full stay away order of protection against her protecting two juveniles as well as their father, who police say were all inside the apartment. Upon making contact with Thompson, she jumped out of a second-story window to get away from officers. Around 11:10 p.m., officers received a call about a suspicious person in the west side of the city. Upon arrival, police officers found Thompson on the side of the road. Thompson again tried to run from police, according to the police report, before she was caught. Thompson was charged and taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned.
– Shaun P. Clutter, 36, of Jamestown was charged with being a fugitive from justice at 9:44 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a south side address for a report of a possible domestic dispute. Clutter was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Corry, Pa., for making terroristic threats. Clutter was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE
– Izaiah N. Clark, 20, of Ashville was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 1:50 p.m. Sunday after officers responded to a reported domestic incident. Clark allegedly used his body to break down a bathroom door during an argument with an elderly woman. During the argument other miscellaneous items in the house were thrown and knocked over. Clark was charged and taken to the county jail for centralized arraignment. He will be in Busti Town Court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– CHAUTAUQUA – Anthony Ward, 48, of Chautauqua, was charged Aug. 23 with driving while ability impaired by drugs, littering on a highway and speeding following a traffic stop on Route 430 around 9 p.m. He was released on appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date and time.
– VILLENOVA – Kenneth E. Armstrong, 34, of Forestville, was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. It is alleged that Armstrong damaged property belonging to another individual on Bartlett Hill Road and also subjected the owner of the damaged property to unwanted physical contact. He was taken to the county jail for the centralized arraignment.
