JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Edgardo C. Marquez, 38, of Jamestown was charged with resisting arrest, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia at 6:39 p.m. Monday after city police officers saw him near Falconer and Liberty streets knowing Marquez had an active arrest warrant issued by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. Officers conducted a street check on Marquez, who then allegedly tried to run away from officers. Officers caught Marquez, who reportedly was found with fentanyl, cocaine and a digital scale with residue on his person. Marquez was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned and will be in Jamestown City Court later.
– Allan L. Broadwater, 43, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal mischief at 9:07 p.m. Aug. 13 after officers responded to a business on Jamestown’s east side for a report of a male destroying property. Upon investigating the incident, it was found that Allan L. Broadwater, 43 year old male of Jamestown, damaged several fleet vehicles belonging to the business. Broadwater was located, charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
