CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

— SHERIDAN — A vehicle pursuit last week has led to drug charges against at town resident.

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report its Criminal Investigation Division attempted to stop Philip A. Decker, 25, who was a known suspended operator. He failed to comply and led an investigator on a pursuit from the town of Sheridan into the town of Hanover on Thursday. Decker abandoned his vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 near Hanford Road and fled on foot. He was later located at a residence in Hanford Bay and taken into custody.

Through an investigation, Decker was found to be in possession of 101.4 grams of methamphetamine and 9.7 grams of crack cocaine as well as other drug paraphernalia. He was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail where he was arraigned.

— A Jamestown woman is facing charges after a search warrant was executed by law-enforcement last week. Narcotics Investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department and Dunkirk Police Department were at 814 E. Second St., upper apartment in Jamestown on Thursday afternoon. Inside the residence at the time of the search was Lisa Tibbetts, 47. As a result of the search investigators seized 12.1 grams of methamphetamine, scales and packaging used for the sale and distribution of methamphetamine and a quantity of currency. Tibbetts was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Tibbetts also had an arrest warrant out of Chautauqua County Court for felony drug possession and one out of Jamestown City Court for felony possession of stolen property. Tibbets was transported to Jamestown Court for arraignment.

DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Justin Schreier, 29, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 12 and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, third-degree unlawful fleeing in vehicle, reckless driving, and eight traffic infractions.

— Christopher Thomas, 55, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 12 and charged with trespass.

— Hector Negron-Medina, 33, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 13 and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

— Jerry Small, 55, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 13 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

— Juan Flores, 30, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 13 and charged with trespass.

— Lamont Oakes, 41, of Fredonia, was arrested Friday and charged with first-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree grand larceny, and petit larceny.

— Maria Dominguez-Gill, 32, of Dunkirk, was arrested Friday and charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed vehicle operator.

— Reynaldo Miranda, 44, of Dunkirk, was arrested Friday and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and five traffic infractions.

— Wilfredo Hernandez, 44, of Dunkirk, was arrested Saturday and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with suspended registration, and six traffic infractions.

— Jose Rubacalba, 51, of Dunkirk, was arrested Saturday and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, petit larceny, resisting arrest, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

— Raymond Provorse, 29, of Brocton, was arrested Sunday and charged with two charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and two traffic infractions.

— Gianna Gates, 27, of Dunkirk, was arrested Sunday and charged with petit larceny.

— Brandon Perry, 27, of Dunkirk, was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, two counts of second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, endangering the welfare of a child, and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
