JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Zachary Clark, 55, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt following an incident which took place Thursday morning. Officers conducted a street check at 12:59 a.m. at an address on the city’s west side. Officers report that Clark, who has several active arrest warrants from JPD was also allegedly in violation of a duly served order of protection. Clark was taken into custody, transported to the city jail and will be in court at a later date.

– Robbie M. Stearns, 29, resident of Frewsburg was arrested and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, fifth-degree felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree felony criminal possession of a controlled substance following an incident. At 12:52 p.m. officers responded to a downtown business parking lot to investigate a domestic incident in progress. Officers report finding Stearns and a female victim who appeared to be semi-conscious in the back seat of a vehicle. Officers allegedly found a quantity of what appeared to be cocaine, a scale and other drugs. When Stearns was taken into custody, what appeared to be fentanyl was found in his possession. Stearns was transported to the city jail and will be in court at a later date.

– Robert M. Bloom, 30, a resident of Jamestown, was charged with making a terroristic threat following an incident which took place Thursday evening. Officers responded to a south side address for a disorderly person at 6 p.m. Officers allege that Bloom had called the Chautauqua County Emergency Dispatch Center and threatened to “blow up the Jamestown Police Department,” several times. Bloom was taken into custody and transported to the city jail. He will be in court at a later date.

– Todd R. Dean, 33, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (three counts) and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia following an incident which took place Thursday evening. Officers initiated a traffic stop at 7:03 p.m. at Broadhead Avenue near Prather Avenue. Officers allege that Dean was in possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, crack cocaine and cutting agents. Dean was released on an appearance ticket and will be in court at a later date.

– Watkine C. Watkins, 45, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal contempt and assault and resisting arrest and for outstanding felony arrest warrants following an incident which took place Thursday afternoon. Officers were called to a fight in progress at 1:03 p.m. to an eastside residence. Once on scene officers report that they had prior knowledge that Watkins had several active felony arrest warrants from the City of Jamestown. When officers attempted to arrest Watkins, he fled from the officers and engaged in a brief struggle with them. Watkins was then taken into custody and transported to the city jail.
