ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Branden A. Brown, 33, of Falconer was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment after an incident Oct. 26, 2021. Brown allegedly threatened bodily harm to the victim while using a Facetime app. An arrest warrant was issued after the incident, but Brown did not live in the area at the time. Brown turned himself in to the Ellicott Town Police on May 24 and is due to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Angela B Peru, 30, of Cassadaga was arrested and charged with petit larceny following a May 18 incident.

At 12:38 a.m. during a traffic stop, officers report that Ellicott Police had an active petit larceny arrest warrant for Peru. Ellicott Police issued Peru an appearance ticket to appear in Ellicott Town Court.

– Christopher M. Harding, 40, of Gerry, was charged with petit larceny following an incident which took place April 24 at 3 p.m. Officers executed an arrest warrant for Harding on May 26. It is alleged that Harding took items from a business in Ellicott without paying for them. Harding will be in court at a later date.

– Marilynn A. Donato, 20, was charged with first-degree assault following a May 2 incident. Officers allege Donato stabbed a female victim during a physical altercation, causing serious physical injury. Donato was transported to the county jail and is due to appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.

– Dakota N. Baker, 31, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt following an incident which took place May 25.Officers alleged that at 3 p.m., May 11, Baker knowingly went in person to a protected party’s place of employment while an active stay away order was in place. Baker was arrested and transported to the county jail and will be in Ellicott Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– HANOVER – Genesis V. King, 23, of North Tonawanda, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated. Deputies said they were called to a residence in Hanover for an unwanted person around 2:20 a.m. That individual was later discovered at a local restaurant on Routes 5&20 parked in a vehicle, allegedly intoxicated. After being charged, King was released with an appearance ticket to appear at the Hanover Town Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Daniel J. Genovese, 44, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful imprisonment at 10:23 p.m. Monday after officers responded to an east side home for a reported domestic dispute. Genovese allegedly threw a phone at another person, cutting their face. He also allegedly grabbed the woman when she tried to leave. Genovese was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
