Pair Charged After Narcotics Investigations

A pair of individuals in two separate cases are facing drug charges after a pair of investigations that spanned several months.

Narcotics investigators from the Sheriff’s Office and Dunkirk Police Department located Tori N. Faison, 45, at 2740 Route 5 in the town of Sheridan on Monday. She was wanted for two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after a nine-month investigation into narcotics sales in the city of Dunkirk and town of Sheridan. A search warrant was also executed at the residence and a quantity of cocaine along with scales and packaging material were seized.

Faison was additionally charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Faison was arraigned in the city court on her arrest warrant.

In the afternoon hours Leanne Calkins was located in the area of Allen Street and Foote Avenue in the city of Jamestown by Sheriff’s Investigators and Detectives from Jamestown Police Department. Calkins was wanted for two counts of second-degree criminal Sale of a controlled substance, four counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and six counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. This was a three-month long investigation into sales of methamphetamine in the Jamestown area. Throughout the investigation over 75 grams of methamphetamine was purchased from Calkins by an undercover officer. Calkins was arraigned in the City of Jamestown Court.

Authorities continue to ask members of the community to call and report suspicious or narcotics related activity within their neighborhoods. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

— CHARLOTTE — Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office did take a report for an incident that took place. After an investigation, Sean P. Hugney, 47, was charged with unlawful dissemination or publication of an intimate image after releasing a private image of an adult without their consent. Hugney was placed into custody and is to be arraigned in the County Jail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Kurt C. Struble, 47, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal obstruction of breathing following an incident which took place Monday evening. Officers responded to an address on the west side of Jamestown at 11:52 p.m. for a reported fight. Upon arrival, officers report that Struble allegedly entered a person’s home after being told repeatedly to not go inside. Struble then allegedly engaged fought with the person outside of the house. During the fight, Struble allegedly grabbed the person by the throat, applying pressure, to the point the victim was unable to breathe. Struble was taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned and will be in court later.

– Debra M. Montenaro, 40, of Jamestown was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child on Monday. Officers responded to an address on the east side of the city for a report of a female living in a tent with a juvenile behind a private home. Officers allege Montenaro was living in a tent with no food, water or proper living conditions with a youth for an extended period of time. Montenaro was charged and taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned. The child was uninjured and turned over to a family member.
