JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Eric L. Reese Jr., 18, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se at 1:28 a.m. Wednesday after his vehicle was pulled over on Fairmount Avenue near West Fifth Street for alleged traffic infractions. Reese was charged and taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.

ELLICOTT POLICE

– FALCONER – Melissa M. Porter, 32, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing on Tuesday after police responded to a Falconer address to check the well being of a woman. Officers report the woman was involved in a domestic incident with Porter, who allegedly choked the woman. Porter will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– ELLICOTT – David M. Harzynski, 44, was charged with assault at 4 p.m. Tuesday after Ellicott police responded to a reported domestic dispute. Officers allege Harzynski hit someone else several times, with injuries to the other person resulting in treatment at UPMC Chautauqua. Harzynski was arraigned in Ellicott Town Court and will be in court later.

– Lee P. Larson, 27, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child at 6:35 p.m. March 20 after officers responded to a Fluvanna-Townline Road home for a reported domestic dispute. According to a police report, Larson allegedly threatened a woman with a knife and reportedly shot an Airsoft rifle at several people at the residence. There were numerous children present during the incident, according to the police report. Larson was taken to the county jail to be arraigned through the centralized arraignment program.

– Joseph A. Mueller, 44, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt on Saturday after officers investigated a complaint and found Mueller was allegedly in violation of a valid stay away order. Mueller will be in Ellicott Town Court late.r

– ELLICOTT – Salvatore Russo, 57, was charged with third-degree menacing and second-degree harassment at 9:30 a.m. March 21. Officers responded to an Ellicott business for a report of a man reportedly threatening his coworkers. Russo allegedly threatened another employee with a screwdriver. Russo was taken to the county jail for arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA

COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– HARMONY – Robert Yoder, 20, of Clymer was charged at 5:50 p.m. Sunday with driving while intoxicated in relation to an accident on Route 474 in Harmony. Deputies responded to the scene of an accident on Route 474 that resulted in one minor injury. Yoder was charged and will be in Harmony Town Court later.
