JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Rasul N. Bonds, 36, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to signal. Jamestown Police officers observed a vehicle allegedly commit a traffic infraction on Forest Avenue, near McKinley Avenue at 12:50 a.m. Monday. Officers initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle on Newland Avenue, near Broadhead Avenue. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Bonds. Officers report Bonds has a suspended license and was in the presence of a female victim who he has an active order of protection to keep away from. Bonds was taken into custody and transported to the city jail, where he was held pending arraignment.

– Brittany M. Hesslink, 19, of Jamestown, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree possession of a weapon. Officers assigned to Jamestown Police Department’s, Second Platoon, responded to a call from a business on the North side, for a report of an alleged assault, Sunday at 3:39 p.m. Upon arrival on scene officers observed and located the victim who allegedly had sustained a laceration to their head. Furthermore, it was determined during the investigation, that Hesslink, allegedly, damaged a display case and merchandise in the business, and used a pipe wrench to allegedly assault the victim, prior to leaving. Hesslink was found near the establishment, charged and taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– HANOVER – Brandon L. Lebeau, 50, of Fredonia, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI Common Law, speed not reasonable and moving from lane unsafely after deputies responded to a reported motor vehicle accident around 1 a.m. Saturday near King and Hanover Road, Hanover. Deputies saw a pickup in the ditch off of King Road and reported the driver allegedly appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. LeBeau was taken to the Sheriff’s Office substation in Pomfret, where he was processed and charged with aggravated DWI and other traffic violations. Lebeau will be in Hanover Town Court later.

– Jeron C. Douglas, 44, of Irving was charged with second-degree harassment at 12:39 p.m. Monday after deputies responded to an in-progress altercation at 965 Route 5 & 20, Irving. After an investigation, it was determined Douglas had allegedly harassed another person. Douglas was charged and will be in Hanover Town Court later.
