JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

A Jamestown couple are facing criminal charges after an event which took place Sunday. Officers assigned with the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon responded to a north side residence at 2:30 p.m. Sunday for an alleged domestic dispute in progress. Officers found Karen M. Danson, 37, of Jamestown and Andrew J. Cooley, 35, of Jamestown allegedly broke each other’s prescription glasses. It was also determined that Danson and Cooley both allegedly had valid orders of protection against one another. Both Danson and Cooley were charged with second-degree, contempt, and fourth-degree criminal mischief and taken to the city jail awaiting arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jeramy S. Card, 23, of Busti was charged with second-degree assault, and fourth-degree criminal mischief after an incident Saturday. Officers responded to 611 Busti-Sugar Grove Road at 3:03 a.m. for a complaint of a person allegedly brandishing weapons during an alleged physical altercation. During the investigation officers reported that Card allegedly assaulted the victim who sustained serious physical injury and property damage. Card will be in Busti Town Court later. The Lakewood Busti Police Department is still investigating and further charges are possible.
