JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Steven A. Gustafson Solinger, 34, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. A vehicle was observed at 7:07 p.m. Friday traveling on Fluvanna Avenue without headlights or tail lights. Gustafson reportedly appeared to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. Gustafson Solinger’s level of impairment and BAC of 0.0% did not coincide with one another and a drug recognition expert then conducted a drug influence evaluation. He was held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
— Jon M. Johnson, 55, of Jamestown, was charged with failure to keep right, unregistered motor vehicle and driving while intoxicated. Police stopped a vehicle at 2:29 a.m. Tuesday for failing to keep right and being unregistered. Johnson reportedly failed field sobriety tests and was transported to Jamestown City Jail. He was held for arraignment in court.
— Sandra L. Pavlock, 44, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Kelsy A. Staszewski, 35, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers stopped a vehicle at 8:59 p.m. Friday for an observed traffic infraction. An investigation found that Pavlock and Staszewski were allegedly in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. After being taken into custody, Pavlock was further found with 13.6 grams of methamphetamine. She was held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court. Staszewski is scheduled to appear in court later.
