JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Fernando O. Rivera, 22, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and two counts each of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Officers responded at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday to a downtown business for a suspicious male who was allegedly following two juvenile females. One of the females later identified Rivera who followed them for a quarter mile. The victims stated that while the male was following them, he was speaking to them in a manner that scared them. Rivera was taken into custody and held for arraignment in court.
