JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

— David A. Burkholder, 41, and Cynthia M. Messere, 29, both of Jamestown, were each charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. Officers responded at 1:17 a.m. Friday to the south side of the city for a reported domestic dispute. An investigation found that Burkholder and Messere both engaged in an altercation in which they choked each other. Both were held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

— Aimee L. Hogg, 37, no address listed, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers stopped a vehicle at 8:08 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Hazeltine Avenue and Colfax Street for traffic infractions. Hogg, a passenger, had outstanding felony warrants. While in custody, Hogg was allegedly found with a quantity of methamphetamine and tampering with physical evidence. She was held for arraignment in court.

— Dale R. Linkous Jr., 25, no address listed, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and three counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and one count each of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence. Police stopped a vehicle at midnight Jan. 26 in the area of West Fifth and Jefferson streets for traffic infractions. Officers learned that Linkous’ license was revoked, and a search turned up a quantity of fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine. Officers also located numerous scales, packaging material and cutting agents, as well as a billy club inside the vehicle. Linkous was held for court.
