SHERIFF’S OFFICE

— DAYTON — Peter E. Huber, 52, of Gowanda, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, driving while intoxicated second offense, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator. Deputies stopped Huber Jan. 19 on Route 62 in the town of Dayton for a revoked license and an investigation revealed signs of intoxication to the driver. Huber is scheduled to appear in Dayton Town Court to answer the charges at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

DEPARTMENT

— Terry L. Kendall Jr., 33, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Brook A. Patterson, 38, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Police stopped a vehicle at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Newland Avenue and Myrtle Street for an observed traffic violation. Officers located 15.3 grams of cocaine along with quantities of fentanyl, suboxone strips, Clonazepam pills and drug paraphernalia inside of the vehicle as well as on the occupants. Kendall and Patterson were taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

— Gary S. Dean Jr., 47, no address listed, was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Police responded at 12:45 a.m. Thursday to the north side of the city for a reported domestic dispute. It was learned that Dean allegedly made threats to harm another person who was holding a child. Dean was held for arraignment in court.

— Jeffrey L. Aldrich, 57, no address listed, was charged with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Officers on Tuesday observed a vehicle pass through a red light and Aldrich later failed standardized field sobriety testing. Aldrich is scheduled to appear in court later.

— Roberto E. Cordero, 29, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree trespassing. Officers responded at 2:40 a.m. Thursday to North Main Street for a reported altercation. An investigation found that Cordero entered a business and allegedly engaged in physical confrontation with customers after being advised he was not allowed to return. Cordero is scheduled to appear in court later.
