JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Schuyler Coleman, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree falsely reporting an incident. Officers responded at 9 p.m. Wednesday to a North Main Street business for a reported stabbing incident. Coleman stated that he was stabbed in the abdomen, though an investigation found that no stabbing had taken place. Police found that Schuyler had no marks or stab wounds. He was transported to jail and held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

— Alicia J. Oscar, 36, no address listed, was charged with fugitive from justice. Officers responded at 10:32 a.m. Thursday to the South County Office Building for a possible fugitive from justice. Upon arrival, officers were able to confirm that Oscar had a confirmed warrant out of Erie, Pa., for retail theft and disorderly conduct. Oscar was transported to jail and held for arraignment in court.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

— David H. Vanguilder, 47, of Jamestown, was taken into custody Tuesday on an outstanding warrant from an incident that occurred in 2022. Vanguilder was arraigned in Randolph Town Court and released.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

— Brian J. Little, 38, of Mayville, was charged with third-degree attempted assault. Deputies responded Wednesday to check the well-being of a person in Mayville. An investigation later found that Little had been involved in an altercation with another person. Little was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
