CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– PORTLAND – Thomas A. Schimd Jr., 33, of Portland, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Deputies responded at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday to Ellicott Road in the town of Portland for a disorderly person. An investigation found that Schmid allegedly violated an active stay away order of protection. Schimd was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
