JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Corey P. Bryant, no age or address listed, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and no stopping/standing on highway. Officers at 8:06 a.m. Friday stopped a vehicle for an observed traffic violation. It was later determined that Bryant had allegedly violated a valid stay-away order of protection to stay away from one of the occupants of the vehicle. Bryant was transported to Jamestown City Jail.
– Ashley G. Richards, 36, of Jamestown, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Officers observed Richards operating a bicycle at 7:58 p.m. Thursday on Charles Street near Hazeltine Avenue. Officers observed Richards to be swerving between the lanes and the bicycle to be missing the required lights and bell. During a stop, it was found that Richards had an outstanding arrest warrant from the Jamestown Police Department. During a search, Richards was allegedly found with a stolen credit card. She was held for arraignment in court.
– Brooke Rodriguez, 33, no address listed, was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded Thursday to a residence on the south side of the city for a report of juveniles throwing rocks at houses in the neighborhood. The parent of the juveniles involved was identified as Rodriguez. She was charged after police were informed that the children continued to cause damage to neighborhood residences.
