LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Fernando L. Mojica-Reyes, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and false personation. Leonardo Ayala-Rosario, 38, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. Officers responded at 6:35 p.m. Friday to Walmart for a reported larceny. It was learned that two people passed all points of sale with two shopping carts full of items. The two subjects were identified as Mojica-Reyes and Ayala-Rosario. Both are scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Terverius P. Strudwick, 19, no address listed, was charged with grand larceny and petit larceny. Police were called Dec. 3 to Wegmans for a report of a wallet that was accidentally left in a shopping cart. After reviewing video footage, it was found that Strudwick allegedly took the wallet after finding it in the shopping cart. Strudwick then reportedly used a credit card from the wallet at Target and Kwik Fill . He is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Benjamin J. Ernewein, 41, of Ashville, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt. Police stopped a vehicle at 10:56 a.m. Monday in the area of Barrett Avenue near Superior Street for observed traffic infractions. An investigation found that Ernewein was sitting next to a woman who had an order of protection against him. Ernewein was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment in court.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– SOUTH DAYTON – Vincent J. Mardino, 43, of South Dayton, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing. Deputies and state troopers responded Dec. 6 to complaints of a domestic incident. Following an investigation, Mardino was arraigned in Persia Town Court and was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail. He’s scheduled to appear in Dayton Town Court later.
– RANDOLPH – Kyle A. Neuzil, 21, of Randolph, was charged with second-degree harassment. Deputies responded Friday to a reported domestic incident on Jamestown Street in the town of Randolph. Neuzil is scheduled to appear in Randolph Town Court later.
FREDONIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Seventeen underage individuals have been charged with possessing fictitious identification after a joint effort by Fredonia Police Department and state Department of Motor Vehicles with an investigative detail at the village’s businesses that are licensed to sell alcohol.
The investigation targeted those under the age of 21 years old, attempting to enter a liquor-licensed establishment and who presented a fictitious identification/drivers license for the purpose of purchasing alcohol. All 17 were charged and will be in village court later.
