JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
≤ Edgar L. Shirley, 38, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and forcible touching. Officers responded at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday to a reported domestic incident on the north side of the city. An investigation determined that at 8 p.m. Monday, Shirley allegedly followed another person into her bathroom and would not let her leave. Shirley then forcibly touched the victim before she was finally able to get away. Shirley was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.
≤ Megan R. Dorman, 23, no address listed, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers stopped a vehicle at 1:08 a.m. Monday for a traffic infraction. An investigation found that Dorman was allegedly in possession of four benzodiazepine pills. She was processed and released with a ticket to appear in court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
≤ STOCKTON — Reynaldo Miranda, 44, of Dunkirk, was charged with third-degree burglary, criminal mischief and possession of stolen property. Deputies at 11:53 a.m. Monday observed a male running from a residence on Moon Road in the town of Stockton. Due to recent burglaries in the area, the male was identified as Miranda. Following an investigation, it was found that a nearby residence was broken into and items were removed. Miranda was taken into custody.
