≤ Matthew D. Homan, 51, of Sherman, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speeding. Officers were on patrol Sunday at 2:47 a.m. on Baker Street Extension and observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. An investigation determined that Homan was allegedly intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

≤ Kimberly D. Carare, 28, no address listed, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Officers responded at 8:19 p.m. Sunday to the area of West Fifth Street and Fairmount Avenue for a vehicle that struck a utility pole. An investigation found that Carare was allegedly operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state that was above the legal limit. It was also determined that she was operating the vehicle on a suspended license due to a previous DWI arrest in September 2023. Carare was held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

≤ Jared G. Leroy, 43, no address listed, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny and resisting arrest. Officers responded at 1:50 a.m. Monday to reception for a domestic dispute complaint. It was learned that Leroy allegedly took the phone of another person, broke it and then stole the battery during the dispute. Leroy reportedly resisted arrest while being taken into custody. He was transported to jail and held for arraignment.

≤ Angela L. Tianshi, 25, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree harassment and first-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded at 6:34 p.m. Sunday to the south side of the city for a reported domestic incident. It was learned that Tianshi allegedly struck another person in the head with a closed fist earlier in the day while there was an order of protection in place. Tianshi was transported to jail and held for arraignment.

≤ Dale R. Linkous, 25, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock system and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers responded at 10:09 a.m. Monday to the city’s east side for a reported vehicle complaint. Officers located Linkous sleeping inside a running vehicle and were made aware that Linkous had an arrest warrant out of the city of Jamestown. It was also found that Linkous’ driving privileges were revoked and that he was required to have an ignition interlock system installed. Linkous was later found in possession of a quantity of fentanyl and methamphetamine along with a small quantity of cocaine located inside the vehicle. He was held for arraignment in court on the charges.
