JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Kayla E. Clark, 27, of Jamestown, was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, no/inadequate lights and uninspected motor vehicle. Officers stopped a vehicle at 1:05 a.m. Monday on Winsor Street for operating without headlights. An investigation found that Clark was allegedly intoxicated. Clark was processed and released with tickets to appear back in court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ SHERIDAN — Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on Route 5 on Sunday for a disorderly subject, possibly taking items from that location. It was discovered the subject left the area prior to deputies arrival. The subject was soon located a short distance away and identified as Jordan D. Pound, 32, of Ripley. Through investigation it was alleged that Pound took items that were not his. Pound was taken into custody and charged with petit larceny and the items were returned to the victim. Further investigation determined that Pound had an active arrest warrant out of the town of Harmony for third-degree burglary. Pound was transported to county jail for centralized arraignment.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Brenden C. Robbins, 20, no address listed, was charged with second-degree harassment and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. Police responded to a reported domestic incident in the village of Celoron. Robbins allegedly subjected another person to physical contact by slapping, pushing and punching the victim. It was also alleged that Robbins allegedly obstructed the victim’s breathing and blood circulation by applying pressure to the victim’s throat
¯ Jody J. Baran, 41, of Jamestown, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and two counts of criminal possession of stolen property. Baran was located near where a stolen vehicle from Celoron was recovered. After consenting to a search, Baran was found with the key to the vehicle. He is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.
¯ Jason Smith, 53, of Jamestown, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Police responded at 2 p.m. Sunday to Celoron for a reported disturbance. It was learned that Smith had allegedly violated an order of protection. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
¯ Michael D. Johnson, 37, and Christine M. Johnson, 37, both of Jamestown, were each taken into custody on warrants out of Ellicott Town Court for petit larceny charges. Both were in a vehicle stopped by police Oct. 5. They are scheduled to appear in court later.
¯ Jacob A. Feldt, 37, of Celoron, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. On Sept. 22, the school resource officer at Southwestern took a report that a juvenile female student had been picked up at the school by someone who had no permission to take the student from the school. An investigation found that Feldt allegedly arrived at the school at 11:53 a.m. on a motorcycle and picked the student up without permission. The student returned to the school about a half hour later. The school and student’s parents were not aware and did not give permission to remove the student from the school. Feldt is scheduled to appear in court later.
