JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Ashton L. Weinert, 32, of Jamestown, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree attempted burglary and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers responded at 4 a.m. Sunday to the east side of the city for an alarm. Officers located an open door to the building and a shed that appeared to have been forced open. Inside the shed officers located Weinert, who was taken into custody. He was later found to be in possession of two controlled substances. Weinert was held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Jon D. Nusom, 58, no address listed, was charged with second-degree harassment. Police responded Sunday to a residence in Celoron for a domestic incident between two brothers. Nusom was issued an appearance ticket.
¯ Sara R. Ainsley-Gilbert, 30, no address listed, was charged with petit larceny. Police were called at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday to Wegmans for a reported shoplifting. An investigation found that Ainsley-Gilbert allegedly exited the store without paying for items. She is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.
¯ Adam C. Mielke, 44, no address listed, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of second-degree harassment. Police responded at 8:21 p.m. Saturday to a reported domestic dispute. An investigation found that Mielke allegedly engaged in an altercation with another person in front of a child. He is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.
