¯ Kellen A. Fiore, 30, of Jamestown, was charged with driving the wrong way on a one way street, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and aggravated driving while intoxicated. Patrol observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on East Fourth Street at 2:04 a.m. Monday. An investigation determined Fiore was allegedly operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. Fiore was processed and released with traffic tickets.
¯ Christina T. Heiler, 34, no address listed, was charged with resisting arrest. Officers observed Heiler on the porch of a residence on the west side of the city. Heiler, who was wanted, attempted to run inside the residence but was taken into custody after a brief struggle. Heiler was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.
¯ Lisa R Calkins, 54, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Officers responded at 7 a.m. Sunday to McCrea Point Park for a report of a woman slumped over the wheel of a vehicle. An investigation found that Calkins was allegedly operating the motor vehicle under the influence and in possession of 17.2 grams of methamphetamine along with other drug paraphernalia and packaging material. Calkins was held for arraignment in court.
¯ Michael J. Connolly, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Officers responded at 9:12 a.m. Monday to the east side of the city for a reported fight. Connolly was observed standing in the street allegedly throwing items around and holding a brick. Connolly was screaming and acting disorderly. An investigation determined that Connolly damaged property belonging to a female victim, whom he had an order of protection against. He was held for arraignment in court.
SENTENCING
¯ Shawn Sobczak, 36, of Jamestown, was sentenced by Chautauqua County Court Judge David Foley to four years in prison and two years of post-release supervision. In June, Sobczak pleaded guilty to a charge of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
