CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ¯ FREDONIA — Ruben Rosas Jr., 35, of Dunkirk, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and speed in zone. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the village of Fredonia for an alleged traffic violation. An investigation determined that Rosas was allegedly operating the vehicle while impaired by the use of drugs. He is scheduled to appear in court later. LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT ¯ Aaron A. Chase, no age listed, of Jamestown, was charged with disorderly conduct and public lewdness. Chase reportedly stood naked at the intersection of East Fairmount and Fairdale avenues around 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Chase was holding large signs with his name and other sayings on them. He is scheduled to appear in court later to answer the charges. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT ¯ Christopher S. Haberberger, 38, of Jamestown, was charged with resisting arrest. Haberberger was observer at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Barrett Avenue and Warner Place. Officers were aware that Haberberger was wanted by the Jamestown Police Department. Upon making contact, Haberberger engaged in a brief foot pursuit before he was taken into custody. He was held pending arraignment in court. ¯ Jeffrey L. Shriver, 43, no address listed, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. Danielle R. Barber, 28, no address listed, was charged with tampering with physical evidence and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers stopped a vehicle at 7:26 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Spring Street for traffic infractions. An investigation found that Barber was allegedly in possession of a quantity of fentanyl. It was also determined that Shriver was allegedly driving while ability impaired by drugs. It was later learned that determined that Barber was attempting to conceal methamphetamine and fentanyl. Both are scheduled to appear in court. ¯ John W. Murray, 45, of Jamestown, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Officers responded at 8:06 p.m. Wednesday to the north side of the city for a reported domestic dispute. It was learned that Murray allegedly broke an item during the incident. He was held for arraignment. ¯ Morgan E. Ryder, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with tampering with physical evidence and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Willie C. Graham, 42, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Joshua T. Dorsey, 38, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Officers stopped a vehicle at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Newland Avenue near Park Street for observed traffic infractions. Dorsey was found to be operating the vehicle while his driving privilege is suspended. During a search of the vehicle, officers located a quantity of methamphetamine. Ryder was allegedly found to be concealing a quantity of fentanyl while Graham was allegedly found concealing a large quantity of fentanyl in his pants and refused to allow officers to recover it for a period of time. ¯ Adrian Melo-Estrada, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Officers responded at 10 a.m. Wednesday to the south side of the city for an order of protection violation. An investigation determined that Melo-Estrada allegedly violated the order. He was held for arraignment.
