CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ¯ CASSADAGA — Lyndon S. Raynor, 34, of Cassadaga, was charged with second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child. Deputies responded at 6 p.m. Monday to Cassadaga for a reported disorderly person. An investigation determined that Johnson allegedly threatened another person with a knife in the presence of a young child. Raynor was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment. ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT ¯ Walter M Westerdahl, 42, no address listed, was charged with criminal contempt. Police responded at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 21 for a suspicious situation. Westerdahl was observed exiting a garage and, as a result, violating an order of protection. He was transported to the Ellicott Police Department for processing. ¯ A Dunkirk man was transported to the hospital following a crash Aug. 27 at the intersection of North Work and Main streets. A Jamestown resident was driving south on North Work and struck Michael Cox, who was travelling west on East Main on an electric scooter. Cox failed to yield the right of way, causing the accident. Cox was airlifted to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa. The crash remains under investigation. ¯ Branden E. Schultz, 23, no address listed, was charged with second-degree harassment. Schultz allegedly threatened physical harm to another person. He is scheduled to appear in court later. ¯ Daryll V. Thompson Jr. 28, no address listed, was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with a BAC of 0.18% or more. Officers stopped a vehicle at 3 a.m. Saturday for failing to move over for an emergency vehicle. An investigation found that Thompson was allegedly driving while intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in court later. ¯ Roy A. Loveless, 30, no address listed, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Loveless allegedly violated a valid stay away order of protection by going to the protected party’s place of employment. He is scheduled to appear in court later. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT ¯ William Hernandez, 52, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Officers responded at 1:52 a.m. Tuesday to the west side of the city for a reported domestic incident. An investigation found that Hernandez allegedly held a woman on the ground and struck her several times causing injury to her face. Hernandez was held for arraignment in court. ¯ Jenna R. Crouch, 32, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree assault and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded at 12:51 a.m. Tuesday to the east side of the city for a reported assault. An investigation found that Crouch allegedly threw a wooden chair from a second story balcony and struck a juvenile victim causing injuries. The incident occurred in front of two other juveniles victims. Crouch was held for arraignment in court. ¯ Michael Knepp, 41, of Jamestown, was charged with insufficient muffler, no plate lamps, unlicensed operator, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating without insurance. Daniel Graham, 34, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Patrol stopped a vehicle at 9:53 p.m. Monday for a loud muffler and other equipment violations on Maple Street. Knepp was operating the vehicle with a suspended non-driver ID. Graham was allegedly found to be in possession of a small quantity of methaphetamine. Both were released with summons to appear in court later. ¯ Robert M. Bloom, 29, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Police responded at 4 p.m. Monday to the south side of the city for an order of protection violation. Bloom was located at a residence and in violation of the order. He was held for arraignment. ¯ Ashley J. Matthews, 40, of Jamestown, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded at 10:28 p.m. Saturday to the south side of the city for a reported domestic dispute. It was learned that Matthews allegedly used her forearm and pressed it against the throat of a male victim in front of several children. Matthews was transported to jail and held for arraignment. ¯ Kayin J. Ziolkowski, 19, of Jamestown, was charged with trespass. Police were conducting a check of the Cherry Street parking ramp around 8 p.m. Saturday and located Ziolkowski trespassing in the stairwell. Ziolkowski is scheduled to appear in court later. ¯ Lisa M. Tibbetts, 47, and Steven D. Schrecongost, 28, both of Jamestown, were each charged with obstructing governmental administration. Police on Monday spotted a man on a bicycle cutting through back yards on the west side of the city. The man, who had entered a house, had several active warrants in Jamestown. A woman in the house, identified as Tibbetts, told officers that Schrecongost was not there. After obtaining permission from the homeowner, officers attempted to enter but were blocked by Tibbetts. After entering, Schrecongost was located in a bedroom. It was later learned that Schrecongost was also wanted in the state of Georgia and he was further charged with fugitive from justice.
