JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Camille I. Lopez, 23, no address listed, was charged with criminal impersonation, resisting arrest and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers were in the area of the Big Lots parking lot at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday and observed a female acting suspicious. The female reportedly gave officers a false name, and they later learned she was wanted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. Lopez was transported to Jamestown City Jail and was found to be in possession of amphetamine, which is a controlled substance.

¯ BROCTON — Russell C. Genevese Jr., 34, of Brocton, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of criminal obstruction of breathing. Deputies responded at 11:21 p.m. Tuesday to Central Avenue in Brocton for a reported altercation. Genevese was charged following an investigation. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for central arraignment.
¯ DUNKIRK — Raymond Santiago Rodriguez, 50, of Dunkirk, was charged with petit larceny. Deputies, along with Dunkirk police, responded Monday to a shoplifting complaint at Tops Markets in the town of Dunkirk. An investigation found that Santiago Rodriguez allegedly stole merchandise from the store. He is scheduled to appear in court later.
¯ PORTLAND — Two town residents are facing charges in connection with an incident last month. At 6:49 p.m. July 29, deputies conducted a traffic stop. Lawrence Alexander, 38, who had a suspended driver’s license was the operator and Season Brigham, 44, was one of the occupants. Upon an investigation into the stop, a search was conducted where drugs were located.
While trying to place Brigham into custody for an outstanding warrant, she attempted to run from deputies and destroy evidence. She was caught and placed in custody after a brief foot pursuit. She was arrested on her current warrant and new warrants were issued for her and Alexander.
Both were later picked up. Brigham was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child, tampering with physical evidence and resisting arrest. Alexander was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator.
