¯ SILVER CREEK — Broderick Vanaernam, 33, of Irving, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Deputies responded Saturday to a complaint of a vehicle leaving the scene of an incident that occurred on Central Avenue in the village of Silver Creek. The vehicle was later found in the Silver Creek Central School parking lot with the operator still inside. An investigation determined that Vanaernam was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in court later.

¯ Dewitt J. Logan, 45, of Buffalo, was taken into custody Monday on a felony arrest warrant out of Cattaraugus County Court for previous charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was transported to Cattaraugus County Jail and held for further court proceedings.
