JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Jeffrey A. Seekings, 47, of Jamestown, was charged with false personation and resisting arrest. Officers stopped a vehicle at 12:39 a.m. July 9 on West Ninth and Valley streets for multiple traffic infractions. An investigation found that Seekings was allegedly lying about his name to hide that he was operating a vehicle with a suspended license. Seekings then attempted to prevent police from placing him into custody. Seekings was eventually transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.
