CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

¯ WESTFIELD — Two men are facing charges after a child received a tatto.

At about 9 a.m. Tuesday, Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies arrived at a residence for an investigation. It was determined that a minor less than the age of 18 years old received a tattoo at a house party.

Justin B. Gilbert, 36, of the town, and Richard S. Lattanzi, 34, of Winter Garden, Fla., were both subsequently charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree unlawful dealing with a child. Gilbert and Lattanzi were issued appearance tickets and they are to be before the Town of Westfield Court at a later.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — At about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, dispatch received a call from a male who claimed to be lost in a heavily wooded, rural area. Dispatch was able to determine the male was in the area of Bloomer Road. In an attempt to locate the male, Sheriff’s K9 Drake was deployed into the woods. K9 was able to air scent the male and did locate him about a half mile from the road. The male suffered minor injuries, but did not require treatment.
