LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Mark A. Stoneham, 62, of Buffalo, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers were called at 4 p.m. Saturday to a property dispute on South Main Street Extension and learned that Stoneham allegedly entered the property of a protected person, violating an order of protection. Stoneham was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

¯ ELLERY — At around 12:39 p.m. Sunday, deputies were dispatched to a reported larceny. Upon investigation it was found that 67-year-old William M Hawkins of Ashville, did take property amounting to $150 that did not belong to him from a business.

Hawkins was charged with petit larceny and was released with an appearance ticket for town court later.

¯ POLAND — A Texas man is facing charges after a July Fourth traffic stop. Around 3:40 a.m., Juan Castillo of Raymodville, Texas, was pulled over. Further investigation found Castillo to be driving while intoxicated. He was transported to Ellicott Police Department for processing and was later released. He was charged with DWI, DWI per se, and standing, stopping, parking on highway.

¯ SHERIDAN — A Dunkirk man has been charged with driving while intoxicated. At 9:51 p.m. June 29, the Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Swamp Road. The operator of the vehicle was identified as 38-year-old Thomas J. Haase. Further investigation found Thomas to be operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated. Haase was later released with tickets to return to town court.

¯ IRVING — A hamlet resident was charged after a motor-vehicle accident. At 9 a.m. July 3, a deputy assigned to the Hanover patrol was dispatched to Buffalo Road. Upon further investigation, it was determined the operator of the vehicle, 22-year-old Rayden T. Parker-Norton, was found to be driving while intoxicated.

He was charged with DWI and DWI per se. He was issued tickets and released to be in the town of Hanover court at a later date.
