— A city man was charged with second-degree assault and harassment after striking a victim with a metal rod on Monday night. Officers responded to an east side residence at 6:33 p.m. where an investigation revealed that Joseph Brisson Jr., 49, threatened to shoot his neighbor and a vehicle with a BB gun. Officers said he then attempted to punch the second victim and grabbed a metal rod from his vehicle before striking the third individual. Brisson was being held pending arraignment.
— Larry J. Whitehill, 43, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal trespass after officers observed him walking on the WNY & Pennsylvania railroad tracks around 5:40 a.m. Tuesday. He was taken into custody and transported to the City Jail where he was being held pending arraignment.
— A Jamestown man was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after officers arrived at an east-side condemned home late Monday.
Upon arrival at 10:30 p.m., officers searched and located David E. Blakey, 33, inside. Officers say they observed a quantity of methamphetamine in plain view while conducting the search. Blakey was transported to city jail and released to return to court later.
