LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Deanna L. Yuchnitz, 61, no address listed, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Officers were called at 7:36 p.m. Saturday to a vehicle crash on Shadyside Road. Yuchnitz reportedly failed field sobriety tests and later refused a breath test at the police department. Yuchnitz is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.
DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Luis Rivera-Hernandez, 35, no address listed, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Police were notified at 8 a.m. June 16 to a reported larceny of multiple e-bikes. Patrol located a subject nearby placing an e-bike in the back of a vehicle. After confirming the serial number, the e-bike was determined to be stolen. Rivera-Hernandez was booked and released with a ticket. Patrol also located multiple stolen items hidden off of the nearby railroad tracks. All of the found property was returned to the owners.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Sharef D. Corley, 25, no address listed, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. Officers at 7:52 p.m. Sunday observed Corley in a vehicle in the area of Kingsbury and North Main streets. Officers had knowledge that Corley had multiple warrants for his arrest. Upon making contact, Corley allegedly fled from officers on foot. Officers were able to take Corley into custody a short distance later. He was later found in possession of 6.5 grams of fentanyl and 1.8 grams of cocaine that was packaged for sale. Corley was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment in court.
¯ Darius L. Franklin, 25, no address listed, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers stopped a vehicle at 2 a.m. Monday in the area of 21 S. Main St. for numerous traffic infractions. An investigation determined that Franklin was allegedly in violation of a stay away order of protection issued by Jamestown City Court, requiring him to stay away from the female victim inside the vehicle. It was also determined that the female had an outstanding arrest warrant out of the city of Jamestown. The woman was booked on the warrants and released, while Franklin was held for arraignment in court.
