ELLICOTT POLICE

DEPARTMENT

¯ Brent A. Robbins, 33, no address listed, was charged with petit larceny. Patrol was called at 8:15 p.m. Monday to Wegmans for a shoplifting complaint. An investigation found that Robbins allegedly passed the point of sale with $447.37 worth of merchandise without paying. Robbins is scheduled to appear in court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Brandi R. Haight, 32, of Jamestown, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded at 2:51 p.m. Monday to the west side of the city for a well-being check. It was discovered that a 3-year-old child was found by a Good Samaritan walking around on his own without adult supervision on a busy road. Officers took custody of the child and were able to locate the child’s mother, Haight. It was determined that the child had left his residence over an hour before Haight realized he was gone. The child was turned over to a family member and Haight was transported to Jamestown City Jail. She was held for arraignment in court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ RIPLEY — Cody A. Wood, 24, of Ripley, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Deputies responded at 8:22 a.m. Monday to Ross Street in Ripley for a reported disturbance. An investigation found that Wood allegedly damaged another person’s property. He also allegedly had unwanted physical contact and threatened a subject at the residence. Wood was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment and will appear in court later to answer the charges.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Izaiah N.W. Clark, no age or address listed, was charged with third-degree unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, holding more than one license, improper signal, insufficient signal, speed in zone, unsafe turn with no signal, failure to comply with the lawful order of a police officer, speed unreasonable and prudent and failure to stop at a stop sign. Patrol at 2:18 a.m. on Monday witnessed a vehicle run a stop signal at Route 474 and West Fairmount Avenue. The vehicle then began traveling on West Fairmount Avenue at a high rate of speed before the driver stopped at Woodworth and Chicago avenues in Jamestown. The driver was identified as Clark. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.

¯ Cassandra M. Chadwich, 34, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny. Chadwich was stopped June 9 by Walmart asset protection regarding an alleged shoplifting incident. Chadwich is scheduled to appear in court later.
