CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ RANDOLPH — Kelly A. Carlson, 35, of Peck-Settlement Road, Jamestown is facing multiple drug and vehicle charges following a traffic stop early Wednesday morning.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Carlson was spotted around 2:20 a.m. on Messinger Road in the town of Randolph but allegedly failed to pull over for emergency lights and sirens. Carlson continued to drive at a low rate of speed until pulling into a driveway on Bowen Road.

Carlson was taken into custody and later transported to both the Salamanca Police Department and Olean General Hospital for further processing.

Carlson was charged with criminal possesion of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, seventh-degree criminal possesion of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license, operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs, operating a vehicle when approached by an emergency vehicle, failure to use a turn signal, and two counts of driving on the side of the road.

Carlson will answer to the charges in Randolph Town Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ MAYVILLE — Shaun P. Clutter, 35, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief Sunday at 8:20 p.m. following an incident in the county jail. Deputies allege that while Clutter was in custody he damaged his jail issued tablet, rendering it inoperable. He will answer to the charge in Chautauqua Town Court.

¯ STOCKTON — Edgardo C. Marquez, 37, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated and failure to dim headlights following a traffic stop May 27 on Route 60 at 2:20 a.m. He was released with tickets to appear in Stockton Town Court at a later date.
