JAMESTOWN POLICE
¯ Joshua Waygood and Tyren Thompson, both of Jamestown, face charges after a vehicle stop at Chandler and Winsor streets at 1:23 a.m. Sunday. According to a police report, a search of the vehicle revealed 20.6 ounces of methamphetamine, medhadone hydrochloride pills and $2,560 in cash that police suspected to be proceeds from sales of narcotics. Waygood and Thompson were taken to the Jamestown City Jail until they could be arraigned on charges of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
