JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Thomas H. Jewell Jr., 50, of Jamestown is facing a number of charges after a domestic dispute Friday at a north side residence. Officers, upon arrival, before noon were told Jewell hit the victim on the head.

Jewell had left the scene, but was located a short distance away. When officers made contact with him, he ran and was later apprehended. During the investigation it was found that Jewell struck the victim over the head, grabbed her by the neck choking her, damaged items in the house and prevented her from calling police during the course of the incident. He was charged with third-degree assault two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.

— A Jamestown man is facing charges after police Department were patrolling the east side and heard someone yelling for help. Officers determined that Michael T. Saxon, 43, had entered the victim’s residence unlawfully and was refusing to leave around 8:20 p.m. Saxon was taken into custody and charged with second-degree criminal trespass. Officers also determined Saxon had numerous outstanding warrants from the Jamestown Police Department. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail where he was being held pending arraignment.

DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Angel Castillo-Cruz, 40, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 29 and charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, false personation and no light on bicycle.

— Gerardo Andujar-Figueroa, 49, of Dunkirk, was arrested May 6 and charged with two counts of criminal mischief, and single counts of second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment.

— Tiwallace Perry, 22, of Dunkirk, was arrested May 6 and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with blood alcohol content .08% or higher, failure to stop at stop sign and failure to use designated lane.

— Melinda Block, 47, of Fredonia, was arrested May 7 and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with blood alcohol content .08% or higher, consumption of alcohol in motor vehicle and failure to use designated lane.

— Isaac Lockett, 22, of Fredonia, was arrested May 10 and charged with criminal mischief.

— Jennifer Alicea, 30, of Dunkirk, was arrested May 15 and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

— STOCKTON — At about 4:23 a.m. Friday, a deputy observed a vehicle committing a traffic violation on Route 60. After an investigation operator Riley S. Gustafson, 29, of Frewsburg was charged with DWI, DWI per se, and no stopping/standing/parking on highway. Gustafson was released with tickets to be in the Town of Stockton Court at a later date.

— MAYVILLE — Around 3:05 p.m. Friday, deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence for a report of a trespass. Upon investigating the incident, it was determined that Nicholas J. Baldwin, 20, of Manchester, Tenn., unlawfully entered the residence of another. After leaving the residence an altercation took place where Baldwin pepper sprayed the occupant of the residence. He was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree harassment. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail where he was to be arraigned on his charges using the Centralized Arraignment Program. He will be in the town of Chautauqua Court at a later date and time.
