JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Heather Babyak, 52, was charged with trespassing, resisting arrest and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Jeremy Morris, 46, was charged with trespassing. Officers responded at 4:02 p.m. Wednesday to a trespassing complaint at 26 N. Main St., a condemned building. Babyak and Morris were allegedly found on the top floor. Morris was released with an appearance ticket at the scene. Babyak was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment in court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

¯ In May 2021, an investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation into the possession of child pornography. On April 23, that case was turned over to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division. Through its investigation, it was found that Robert Norris Jr., 49, of Fredonia, was found to be in possession of child pornography. Norris was charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child and will answer the charges in town of Pomfret Court.

¯ MAYVILLE — On May 4, Damion L. Carlson, 24, an inmate at the Chautauqua County Jail and Jamestown resident, did damage his computer tablet and earbuds he received at the jail. He was arraigned at county jail on third-degree criminal mischief and was held due to unrelated charges.
