JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Dustin A. Turner, 32, of Lakewood, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, uninspected motor vehicle and inadequate exhaust. Patrol stopped a vehicle at 2:28 a.m. Wednesday in the area of North Main and East Seventh streets for a loud exhaust. An investigation found that the driver, identified as Turner, had a warrant for his arrest through Jamestown City Court for failing to appear in court. Turner was allegedly found with cocaine and a search of his vehicle turned up psilocybin mushrooms. He was transported to jail and held for arraignment.

DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ A high-speed motorcycle chase that included wheelies has led to charges for a Jamestown man.

Dunkirk police reported on Tuesday that officers observed a subject riding a red motorcycle on Lake Shore Drive East in the city of Dunkirk on April 2. When patrol officers activated lights and sirens the operator failed to comply with officers and led patrols on a pursuit throughout the First Ward. The operator then traveled through the pedestrian walkway in Wright Park and proceeded on Lakefront Boulevard at a high rate of speed before he was stopped by officers at Lake Shore Drive and Main Street. The operator was identified as Eqequiel Villafane-Nazario, 28. He was taken to Dunkirk Police Headquarters where he was charged with third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle; passing on the right; running a red light; two counts of speed not reasonable; failure to stop at stop sign; failure to obey police officer and operating a motor vehicle in park.

¯ Michael Grekulak, 31, of Gowanda, was arrested March 25 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ David Corsi, 33, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 26 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, and refusal to take a breath test.

¯ Zachary Hammill, 32, of Buffalo, was arrested March 26 and charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test.

¯ Dakota Sugg, 28, of Silver Creek, was arrested March 27 and charged with second-degree burglary, criminal mischief and harassment.

¯ Barbara Houser, 36, of Westfield, was arrested March 31 on a bench warrant for failure to appear.

¯ Robert Lovelace, 25, of Rochester, was arrested April 2 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.

¯ William Eppinger, 45, of Brocton, was arrested April 4 on a bench warrant for failure to appear.

¯ Ida Weber-Smith, 55, of Collins, was arrested April 7 and charged with third- degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

¯ Henry Fedrick, 33, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 8 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Stephen Falkner, 34, of Fredonia, was arrested April 8 on a bench warrant for failure to appear.

¯ Jose LaFontaine-Colon, 34, of Dunkirk, was arrested April 8 on a bench warrant for failure to appear.

¯ Michelle Balch, 36, homeless, was arrested April 8 on a bench warrant for failure to appear.
