JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Joshua Tolliver, 19, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and false personation. Officers were flagged down on the north side of the city for a reported domestic incident at 10 a.m. Wednesday. A woman told police that a man had left a residence with her property. The man failed to comply when officers asked him to stop. He later provided police with a false name and pulled away as he was being detained. Tolliver was eventually taken into custody following a struggle. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

¯ Jordan J. Thayer, 25, of Jamestown, was charged with two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment and one count each of third-degree unlawful fleeing a police officer, third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speed not reasonable and prudent. Patrol was dispatched at 11:56 a.m. Thursday to Dollar General on Winsor Street for a reported sighting of a stolen vehicle from the day before. The vehicle then began to flee, nearly striking two U.S. Postal employees before exiting on foot. Thayer was taken into custody after a short pursuit. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ MAYVILLE — James B. Erickson, 56, of Stockton, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and open container in a motor vehicle. Deputies at 1:57 a.m. March 30 responded to Kwik Fill on Water Street in Mayville for a well-being check. A cashier stated that a male had gotten out of a truck and asked if they had a restroom and didn’t come out for the next 30 minutes. An investigation later determined that Erickson was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.

¯ PORTLAND — Todd L. Reardon, 47, of Dunkirk, and Robert S. Ryen, 52, of Dunkirk were each charged with two counts of third-degree burglary and two counts of petit larceny. Patrol responded Wednesday to a reported burglary on Lake Avenue in the town of Portland. During a property check, deputies located two people inside a camper stealing property. An investigation found that Reardon and Ryen had also broken into a second building on the property and had taken property from that building as well. Both were transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
