JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

— On Friday at around 5:40 p.m., Jamestown Police and Chautauqua County Probation responded to a south side residence for an order of protection compliance check.

Upon arrival, officers located Neal Cox, 32 of Jamestown in the presence of a juvenile victim who is the protected party in a stay-away order of protection. Cox was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail where

he awaits arraignment on a charge of second-degree criminal contempt.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S

DEPARTMENT

— CHERRY CREEK — At about 4:05 p.m. Saturday, the New York State Police and deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to an altercation. Through an investigation of the incident it was determined that William J. Chadwick, 52, of Cherry Creek intentionally damaged the property of another with a value greater than $250.

Chadwick was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned. He will be in Cherry Creek court later.

— GERRY — At 1:49 a.m. Saturday, deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 60 for an alleged traffic violation. The operator was identified as Lyndsay A. Foster,34, of Buffalo.

After an investigation Foster was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and speed over 55 mph in zone. Foster was released with traffic citations and will be in the Town of Gerry Court later.
