JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Kieran J. Hunt, 31, of Jamestown, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Officers responded around midnight Friday to a reported domestic dispute in the downtown area after several calls for people yelling. An investigation found that Hunt was allegedly in violation of a valid stay away order of protection. Hunt was held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

¯ A 74-year-old Falconer man is facing charges after an incident earlier this month in the town of Ellicott. On March 14 around 8:13 p.m., deputies and the Ellicott Police Department responded to the area of Peck Settlement and Carlberg Roadfor a reported vehicle off the road. The vehicle was located and the operator was identified as Samuel S. Oneal of Falconer. Through an investigation it was determined that Oneal was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Oneal was charged with DWI, DWI per se, failure to keep right, speed not reasonable/prudent and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Oneal was transported to a station for processing and later released to be in town of Ellicott court later.

¯ SHERIDAN — Around 12:33 a.m. March 18, deputies were on Route 20 conducting a traffic stop. A vehicle failed to pass the patrol car and deputies safely or slow down while doing so. This vehicle was then stopped and through investigation it was determined the operator of the vehicle, Dylan S. Munson, 27, of Fredonia, was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Munson was charged with DWI, DWI per se, and failing to use due care for an emergency vehicle stopped or standing. Munson will be in Sheridan court later.
