CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

¯ MAYVILLE — On Monday, Bart M. Bartlett, 38, of Jamestown was held at the county jail on unrelated charges out of the city of Jamestown. During his incarceration, Bartlett intentionally smashed the facility phone located within the cell block breaking it into multiple pieces. He was held for Centralized Arraignment on the new misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree criminal mischief.

DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Jimmy Watts, 48, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 8 and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and single counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.

¯ Thomas Towne, 41, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 9 and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

¯ Edward Carpenter, 52, of Silver Creek, was arrested March 9 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Octavia Brown, 33, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 9 and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was also arrested March 16 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Peter Galardo, 41, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 10 and charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

¯ Leanne White. 39, of Irving, was arrested March 11 and charged with tampering with physical evidence, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration.

¯ Melinda King, 23, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 11 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was also arrested March 16 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ James Tilly, 47, of Dunkirk, was arrested March 15 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
