JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Drew M. Thompson, 49, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a contolled substance and two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Officers observed a vehicle fail to come to a complete stop at 5:22 p.m. Sunday at an intersection. Thompson, who was driving a white SUV, was allegedly found with a quantity of methamphetamine, scales and packaging material. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ FINDLEY LAKE — Tracey M. Morgan, 52, of Findley Lake, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree harassment. Deputies responded at 7:20 p.m. Sunday to a Findley Lake residence for a reported altercation. An investigation found that Morgan allegedly grabbed the throat/neck area of another individual during an altercation. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment and is scheduled to appear in court later.

WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Justin J. Ecklund, 30, of Frewsburg, was charged with parking/standing/stopping on highway and driving while ability impaired-drugs. Officers responded at 7 a.m. Friday to a vehicle complaint on Holt Street. An investigation found that Ecklund, the driver of the vehicle, appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. He was processed and is scheduled to appear in Westfield Village Court later.
