¯ Alberto Aponte Narvaez Jr., 41, of Jamestown, was charged with riding bicycle on sidewalk. Officers observed Aponte Narvaez on Wednesday riding a bicycle on the sidewalk of a public street, which is in violation of the Jamestown city code. It was also found that Aponte Narvaez had outstanding arrest warrants for three separate burglaries, five petit larcenies and four additional bench warrants. Aponte Narvaez reportedly began to flee, but was later found hiding behind a residence on the north side of the city. He was taken into custody and was being held for arraignment.

¯ Cody J. Erickson, 37, of Panama, was charged with leaving the scene of an incident, moved from lane unsafely, operating while registration suspended, driving while intoxicated and driving while 0.08 of 1% or more of alcohol. Officers at 7 p.m. Tuesday observed a vehicle side-swipe a parked vehicle and then leave. The driver was later identified as Erickson, who was allegedly found to be intoxicated on a suspended registration. Erickson was processed and released with tickets to appear in court later.
